The Apple Pie Julep is our autumnal twist on a classic julep. Traditionally a summer drink, for this winter julep we’ve paired bourbon with cloudy apple juice, cinnamon syrup and ginger beer.
Using your jigger to measure, add the bourbon, apple juice and cinnamon syrup to a julep tin or tall glass
Fill ⅔ with crushed ice
Churn using your bar spoon for around 10 seconds
Top up with more crushed ice
Add a splash of ginger beer
Finish with a crown of crushed ice, pile crushed ice on top and use your hand to form into a dome
Garnish with apple slice and a mint sprig
Serve and enjoy

The classic Mint Julep is one of our favourite bourbon drinks, a simple mixture of American whiskey, mint and sugar churned with crushed ice that encapsulates the flavours of a hot southern summer. For this twist we’ve taken that concept and made it wintry, crafting our julep around the gorgeously warming flavours of apple pie.
This drink has the warmth of bourbon and ginger combined with the classic flavour pairing of apple and cinnamon to make a drink that has all the autumnal goodness of apple pie in a cocktail.

Howdy folks, Sasa here from TT Liquor. Today we’re going to introduce another drink from our new masterclass menu. It’s a mint julep but with an autumnal twist, we added some cinnamon and cloudy apple juice and made this all into one delicious little concoction. It’s a bourbon based classic. In this case we use Buffalo Trace, which is one of our firm favourites. So we hope you’re going to like it. Enjoy, see you soon.
Hi guys, it’s me, Kay, I’m back here at TT Liquor and today I’m going to be showing you another one of our new cocktail class drinks. So this is an Apple Pie Julep.
First thing I need is some bourbon, and I’ve got this lovely Buffalo Trace bourbon, and I want about 40ml of my bourbon.
Next thing going in here to bring some of that autumn, winter spice is going to be some cinnamon syrup, and I want about 20ml of my cinnamon syrup.
Then I want about 30ml of my apple juice.
And now I’m gonna go ahead and fill this cup about three quarters of the way up with some crushed ice.
Fantastic, and now I’m gonna take my spoon and just give this a good old churn and a stir, get everything mixed together, get some of that ice diluted down and melted down and lengthen our drink out. Here we go.
To finish this off with some extra kind of autumn spice flavour, we’ve got some ginger beer here. I’m just gonna crack that open and add a little splash to the top of my drink, not much, maybe about 10 or 20ml.
And then I’m gonna go ahead and just give this a crown of crushed ice. So I’m gonna take a nice big scoop of crushed ice, pile it on top of the drink, gently use my hand just to form that into a dome.
So for a garnish, got myself a nice little apple fan. I’ll just pop that on the side here, and a little sprig of mint as well, and I’ll pop that right next to our apple fan.
I’ve got a bar napkin here, I’m just gonna fold it in half to make a triangle. Take each of these two corners here, dip them in a little bit of water and then, these wet corners are gonna stick to that cold metal tin.
And that is our Apple Pie Julep, ready to drink.
