Bar Spoon
By MIXOLOGY EVENTS
This spoon has a flat rounded head, a long spiralled handle, and at the other end usually a disc muddler or a fork.
The spiralled handle makes it easier to stir with. The flat spoon end means you can use a knife to make exact measurements of powders.
Spoons with a disc at the end, sometimes known as Mazagran spoons, can be used for muddling or help with layering cocktails.
Spoons with a fork at the end, also known as Sucket spoons, are useful for cleanly picking up fruit, especially out of jars of syrups used to preserve.
