Core Modules

Mixology Events Bartender and Mixologist Training is made up of the following core modules:

History of Spirits and Production
Learn how historical events have led to the wonderful variety of spirits that we enjoy today. How conquest, exploration and technology has shaped the production and identity of each world leading spirit category.

Basic Bar Knowledge
Get practical tuition through the key skills needed to be an accomplished cocktail bartender. From shaking, stirring, building, muddling, straining and free pouring. Learn when to use each technique and why.

Customer Service
The most important attribute for a bartender is to be good at customer service. A bar could offer the most delicious cocktails at the most reasonable prices but if the customer service is bad that bar will fail. We’ll show you the essentials of bar etiquette and how going that extra mile in service is not only personally rewarding, but also financially.

Cocktails
You will learn the indispensable classic cocktail recipes and with that gain an understanding of how each of the component ingredients interact with and complement one another. This is fundamentally required knowledge if you want to be able to create beautifully balanced drinks.

Good to Great
Anyone can be a good bartender but it takes an extra level of craft to be great. We’ll give you the insights necessary to become exceptional.

Modern Mixology and Creating Your Own Ingredients
Being a modern mixologist is a very creative profession. We’ll show you how to infuse, how to macerate, how blend your own products that are better than those commercially available.
