Hi, guys. Matilde here. I’m at TT Liquor, mixology’s flagship venue in Shoreditch. Today we’re going to show you how to make a Passionfruit Martini. It’s one of the new favourites from our cocktail making classes. It’s a stripped back and concise version of the passionfruit cocktail that we all know too well. The ingredients are in the description below, and here’s Kay to show us how it’s made.

Hi, guys. It’s Kay, back here at TT Liquor. Today I’m going to be showing you how to make a Passionfruit Martini. So as this is a martini, first thing I’m going to do is get my martini glass at the ready. I’m just going to fill that with some crushed ice and let that chill down while we make the rest of the cocktail.

And the first thing I need for my Passionfruit Martini is some vodka. We’re using this really nice Wheatley Vodka, which is an American vodka brand made obviously using wheat. Now I want 40ml of my vodka. There we go. Beautiful.

Right. Next thing going in here is going to be some passionfruit syrup. We’re using this really nice passionfruit syrup from Monin, who are a really good syrup brand. And I want 20ml of my passionfruit syrup.

Next things going in here are going to be some fresh fruits. First thing we want is, of course, some passionfruit. So I’m just going to cut that guy in half. Beautiful. And I’ll just use my spoon here to scoop the insides of that passion fruit into my shaker.

So next thing I need in here is some fresh lime juice. Now we want about 20ml of lime juice, so half a lime should suffice. I’ve got my elbow press here. And I’ll just use that to squeeze the juice into there. So I’ll just pop that in here. There we go.

So now I’m just going to go ahead and fill that up with cubed ice. I’ll pop my tin on top. Give it a little smack to seal it. I’m going to give this a nice little shake for about 15 seconds, here we go.

Fantastic. So, we’ll pop this open. More or less ready to serve. I’m just going to get rid of this crushed ice in my martini glass. Give it a little shake to get rid of any water. And I’m just going to use my hawthorn strainer to strain this into the glass.

And finally, for a garnish, I’ll grab that half a passionfruit that I saved from earlier. And we can just float that in there, like a little boat. And that is our passionfruit martini, ready to drink.
