Mixology Events hosted one of our molecular cocktail making classes for GDF Suez Energy at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in Fitzrovia, right next to the BT Tower.
Our special ‘Molecular Mixology’ cocktail making classes take the scientific techniques of molecular gastronomy – which seeks to investigate the physical and chemical transformations of ingredients that occur in cooking – and apply them to the making of new and innovative cocktails. Using specialised equipment, guests are taught how to make their own delicious, lab-produced cocktails.
Some of the less conventional components of the molecular workshop include: an iSi cream whipper with N20 canisters; an Earl Grey mist creation; using dry ice to make ice cream; and a calcium bath for spherification.
The Rebecca Hossack Gallery is one of our partnership venues available for cocktail making classes and exclusive cocktail bar hire. The gallery is a unique art installation space, full of natural light and set in a converted town house.
We’re able to host our molecular cocktail making classes at almost any venue of your choice throughout London or the UK, if you have somewhere in mind, then get in contact with our events organisers using any of the means below:
