Julep Strainer

A julep strainer is a tool that looks like a large spoon with holes in it that inserted correctly will act as a strainer allowing only liquid to strain through.
This tool first appeared in the mid 1800’s and was probably derived from other strainers used for tea and in cooking with similar designs seen in England, France and further afield to Asia.
