Mixology Events has a permanent cocktail making workshop in Shoreditch, as well as hosting events at partnership venues across London. We also create unique environments for our guests with the option of taking our portable cocktail making classes anywhere within the UK.
Whether its for 1 person or 150, Mixology Events will cater with the same amount of enthusiasm and involvement each time. Everyone gets to work on a cocktail bar station which holds 4/6 guests, making our custom-built cocktail class a very hands-on and interactive experience.

FORMAT
Reception Cocktail – Enjoy a complimentary cocktail to get you started before you get shown to your fully-equipped cocktail bar (no more than 4-5 to a station).
Introduction to Cocktail Class – Be guided through the background & concepts underpinning the art of mixology & cocktail making, learning some key techniques.
Every Guest Makes Four Cocktails – You and your guests will then get the chance to make (and drink!) four seasonal cocktails behind your very own fully stocked and equipped cocktail making station.
Competition Time – Indulge in some healthy competition as each cocktail bar is pitted against the rest in designing their very own cocktail, utilising the range of high-quality spirits, liqueurs, syrups, fresh fruits and juices available to them.
Event Organisers – We have a permanent team of dedicated event organisers based at our offices in Shoreditch. We understand the importance of verbal communication – some questions simply can’t wait for an email response. That’s why if you’re considering taking on one of our mobile cocktail making classes, we encourage you to give us a call so our team can talk you through any aspect of your concept, or any queries you may have.

On arrival there was a cocktail waiting for us and really good and abundant deli boards and bar snacks all set up. We then proceeded to make four cocktails guided by Sean, who was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Last cocktail was the very fun Zombie with fire, cinnamon and all. We took one of our mobile cocktail classes, as well as our cocktail bar hire service, to ‘London’s Living Room’ on the uppermost floor of City Hall – base of the Mayor of London – for a team event for CVV Capital Partners, one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms.
The venue was absolutely breathtaking, boasting spectacular views over the River Thames, Tower Bridge, and the twinkling city sprawling out beyond. The unique spherical glass building indeed provided the perfect backdrop for a spot of mixology.
We have undertaken a number of successful events at London’s Living Room and this experience allowed us to work out the logistics of the mobile class with minimal fuss, ensuring our events there run as smoothly and as punctually as possible.

Our mobile cocktail classes have even made it over 1000ft above the capital, as we hosted one on the 53rd floor of the iconic Shard near London Bridge in Central London.
Predictably, the security measures in place in Europe’s tallest building were appropriately tight and thorough, which we took into consideration when organising the logistics of what proved to be our most complicated class to date. We made a site visit in advance, which allowed us to mentally map out the space and ensure there would be no difficulties in keeping to a packed schedule.
We provided eight portable cocktail bars in total for our group of 40 guests, allowing each budding mixologist their own workspace to maximise hands-on interaction and limit time spent standing around doing nothing.
The Shard was a great venue to host our mobile cocktail classes, providing unparalleled views across the capital and beyond. All of our guests seemed to enjoy themselves and, judging by the cocktails produced during the competition at the conclusion of the class, each of them picked up a few new skills!

We hosted one of our trademark mobile cocktail classes in a spectacular bar overlooking the River Thames for law firm Clyde & Co.
The venue itself, picked out by our clients, is a real hidden gem set within a historic warehouse on the north bank of the Thames, a stones’ throw away from St Pauls Cathedral, immediately opposite Shakespeare’s iconic and much-loved Globe Theatre.
And there was a healthy measure of theatre on display from our dedicated mixologists and the attendees themselves, as they worked their way through a whole host of new and interesting cocktail creations, ranging from a flaming Zombie to a beautifully smooth Espresso Martini.
Exhibiting a healthy measure of competitiveness, Clyde & Co specifically requested a cocktail class with a greater focus on the competition side of things, and we happily accommodated their request. We make a habit of tailoring our classes and making tweaks where necessary to ensure a uniquely bespoke cocktail making experience for our clients.

Mixology Events provided a mobile cocktail class for the hard-working employees at esteemed confectioners Cadburys in Notting Hill, west London.
Cadburys are world-renowned chocolatiers who have established their venerable brand by creating smooth, indulgent treats, and introducing us to gorillas who can do stunning Phil Collins impressions.
The venue itself was ideal, sharing its space between indoors and outdoors, allowing us to take full advantage of the great British summertime by serving our reception cocktails outdoors on the spacious, sunlit terrace before hosting the main event inside.
It also meant we could utilise the seasonality of our ingredients – so, plenty of watermelon martinis to compliment the Vitamin D which was there in abundance in Notting Hill on the day.
