Cocktail Bar Hire up the Heron Tower

By MIXOLOGY EVENTS

Mixology Events provided expert mixologists for a molecular cocktail bar hire at SushiSamba restaurant, high up on the 38th floor of the Heron Tower in the City of London.

Our mixologists served specially designed cocktails from a custom menu to the employees of Amgen, a multinational biopharmaceutical company. Amgen use cutting-edge science and technology to study the subtlest biological mechanisms in search of therapies that will improve the lives of those who suffer from serious diseases.

Our premium molecular cocktail bar hire service – which applies the innovative scientific techniques of molecular gastronomy to the making of cocktails – seemed the perfect way to provide refreshment and entertainment to our distinguished guests, given that they operate at the forefront of chemistry and biology.

The evening had a red, white and blue theme, and we designed three unique cocktails especially for the event. These included: an ‘inside-out’ Bloody Mary; blue margarita jelly, eaten with chopsticks and served with lime and salt; and a Ramos Gin Fizz that was made with nitrous oxide infused whipped cream (100% legal at the time…) The Ramos Gin Fizz seemed to be the drink of the night!

The 200 guests enjoyed all the cocktails – we served over 750 drinks, and the venue provided spectacular 360 views over London from over 200 metres above the street level. We really enjoy hosting events at venues with offering panoramic views of the capital – we’ve done a number of similar cocktail bar hires at the Shard, and London’s Living Room at City Hall.

If you’re interested in organising your own molecular cocktail bar hire, or to learn how to make molecular cocktails yourselves at one of our special molecular cocktail classes, don’t hesitate to get in contact with one of our events organisers by calling 02080 037 982.
