Mixology Events also offer a version of our cocktail bar hire service that focuses on ‘molecular mixology’. This approach to cocktail making takes the scientific techniques of molecular gastronomy and applies them to the creation of unique and innovative cocktails.

Using professional and specialist equipment, we are able to make and serve striking cocktails made using unorthodox methods – including the use of iSi cream whippers, spherification (using calcium baths and sodium alginate to make liquid spheres), creating fizzy grapes by infusing them with carbon dioxide, and making super smooth dry ice iced cream.

We have put together a range of molecular cocktails that can be served as part of our mobile cocktail bar hire service. Amongst these are a Peach Bellini with peach schnapps caviar (created through direct spherification) and a Purple Rain that gradually changes colour as the ice in it melts (it is made with butterfly pea tea and starts bright blue but turns purple due to a chemical reaction with the citrus juices that are slowly released by the melting ice cubes.) These are simply some of the highlights, we have many other molecular options to satisfy most briefs we are given and are able to provide consultancy on any choice you make.
